My work load is currently almost entirely focused on Myanmar. Like the rest of Southeast Asia, there is an incredible allure and mystery that continues to draw me in. And this is certainly the time to take notice. No matter which side of the “genuineness” debate you fall on, no one can argue that Myanmar is on the precipice of opportunity. Could this country, once the underbelly and indignant relative of Asia, develop into the major success story of democracy-building in the region?
